Since 2006 I have helped independent business owners and marketing teams, organize ideas, design visual business identities, manage print and digital assets, clarify product descriptions, and create first, second, or third edition websites. When someone says to me “I have this skill and the thought of working for myself sounds great but I have no idea where to start,” the world stops and I start preaching possibilities. For years I’ve envisioned a place these possibilities can exist for the taking, at the pace of the user, to offer information and generate momentum between identifying your valuable skills to seeing yourself as someone who can sell their offers and have their very own website. Our Naming Story: Many of you may start your business under your own name—I did for 15 years. Then, in 2019, I embarked on the same naming journey I have led others through. As it would happen, the idea for Rice arrived while doing something completely different. On route to the airport one foggy post-Christmas morning in Northern California, I got lost in thought over the name dilemma I would be returning to. Suddenly, the sun reached through the clouds and there it was.
The sky shimmered as birds flew in and out of reeds; ducks drifted peacefully through what was clearly a thriving ecosystem representing sustainability, growth, and diversity. This abundance and coexistence is how I see the marketplace and the vision I have for you. And so, Rice Content Marketing and Design was established.
